Delete your Lullula account
You can delete your Lullula account, and the data stored with it, at any time. One account covers the Lullula mobile app for Android and iPhone, the Lullula browser extension and the web app at app.lullula.io, so deleting it removes it everywhere. Deletion is permanent: a deleted account and its library cannot be restored.
Delete it in the Lullula mobile app
- Open the Lullula mobile app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to the Me tab and tap Delete account.
- Type the account's email address to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
The account is deleted straight away and the app signs you out. If you have a monthly or yearly subscription, it is cancelled at the same moment, so you will not be charged again.
Or ask us by email
If you use Lullula in your browser, or can't use the mobile app, email support@lullula.io from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We reply within 1–2 business days and confirm by email once the account is deleted. If you write from another address, we will first ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile: name, email address, password, profile picture, and the connection to Google or Apple sign-in. We also revoke Lullula's Sign in with Apple authorization.
- Your library: saved articles and their text, uploaded PDF and EPUB files, audio prepared for them, and AI summaries.
- Your reading history and listening positions.
- Your voice settings and listening allowance records.
- Your subscription and billing history as stored by Lullula.
Account records are removed from our database as soon as you confirm. Stored files and audio are removed right after.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records. Payments are processed by Stripe, which keeps its records of your payments and invoices for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Lullula never holds your card details.
- Product usage records. Some records of how the product is used (for example, that a premium voice was played or a summary was made, and when) keep the internal number of the deleted account. They contain no name, email address or reading content, and are kept without an expiry date for product statistics.
- Error reports. When one of our servers hits an error, a report goes to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider. It carries the error, the path of our endpoint that failed, your account or trial identifier and, at most, the domain name of the page being read. Deleting the account does not remove reports already sent; Sentry deletes them automatically within 90 days.
- Narrated sentence cache. Audio made for a sentence is cached without any link to an account, so others asking for the same sentence get it faster. Each cached sentence and its audio are deleted automatically within 90 days of being created.
- App and extension reports keyed to an installation. The mobile app's usage reports use a random installation identifier and are not linked to your account. The extension's uninstall feedback and the answer to its welcome-page question are stored with that installation's install record, which can be linked to your account if you signed in on it. Deleting the account does not remove any of them. To have them deleted, email us; for the app's reports, include the Usage ID shown on the app's Me tab.
- Optional player experiment records. If you allowed the extension's optional player measurement, the records linked to your account through a verified trial or install record are deleted with it. The rest are deleted 90 days after we receive them.
- Messages you sent us. Feedback and support emails stay in our support inbox so we can follow up. Ask us and we will delete them.
- Text sent for AI summaries. Each AI provider that received it keeps it under its own policy: Anthropic and OpenAI state up to about 30 days (Anthropic up to 2 years for text flagged for a usage-policy violation), while DeepSeek and Alibaba Cloud publish no retention period. If one provider declines or fails, the text has already reached it before the next is asked. See §3 and §6 of our Privacy Policy.
- Data on your devices. The browser extension's settings stay in your browser until you remove the extension, and anything the app stored on your phone is removed when you uninstall it.
Delete some data and keep your account
You can remove individual saved items, uploaded files and reading-history entries in the app or at app.lullula.io without deleting your account. Removing a saved item deletes its text and any audio prepared for it.
